You should have you account set up and know the basics of twitter by now. If you dont start with this article on the basics on twitter. Six easy steps to Twitter This will go over the setup and basics. It will get you to 2000 followers and thats where we begin today.

First things first. You will want to have an account setup with SocialOOmph.com It is a free service to help automate you twitter marketing. This step takes about 15 min to get you accounts linked. Follow there start up instruction and find the Schedule New Update tab on the left side. This will allow you to schedule post to go out over the course of the day. This is leverage.

You must remember the 80/20 rule from our previous class. 80% of your posts need to be content. That mean that most of you post should be quotes, websites, youtube videos, and other content that you enjoy. Its best if they have something to do with your business but people real want to know you. The other 20% should be your sales copy. These are links back to your landing page or blog. You can even leave your business phone number and address if you site isn't ready.

Now that you have setup your daily messages then its time to purge you inbox. Most of the people that respond to yous follow will automatically send you a “direct message.” These message add up and cause a lot of clutter. Use social ooph to automatically delete them everyday. But don't forget to scan them to find and respond to questions. Learn to build relationships with these people.

Try these responses to build relationships with your followers:

You- Hey “Name” you have a great profile. What are you trying to use twitter for?

Them- To meet new people and build my businesses. What do you do?

You- Thanks for asking. I bla bla bla. (Tell them what you do and offer them) I teach people how make multiple six figures online.

For the next 3 weeks follow these steps:

1. follow 300 – 400 per day

2. Unfollow everyone not following you back after 24 – 48 hours

3. 10 – 15 tweets a day. Remember the 80/20 rule

4. Connect with 10 direct messages a day
